Installation Example
1. The opening methods
Sec.Sy technology allows the guest to open the electric lock via the keypad by typing a personal 5-digit PIN code or by reading a badge. In the event that the guest has been enabled to access via smartphone, he just needs to accept the invitation sent by the Administrator / Owner to enable his mobile device to open the gate.
2. The control unit
The control unit, installed at the building and connected directly to the keypad, transmits every access request to the cloud and instantly receives the permission response from the cloud to open the lock according to the security parameters defined on the web portal. Communication between the base station and the online cloud takes place securely.
3. The cloud and the web portal
The cloud stores all the information related to the configuration of the access control system. The web portal is part of the cloud, for Administrators and Owners, from which you can easily manage and monitor guest access activities. It is the connection with the cloud that allows the system to be constantly updated on access permissions.
In order to be operative the system requires electricity. It also requires an internet connection within the facility where it is installed. If absent, this can be easily set up.
Administration through the web portal
To get the most out of this powerful access control system, you need to activate Sec.Sy Cloud, the service that allows you to manage users, virtual keys, permissions and much more online. The use of cloud features is subject to payment of the Sec.Sy Cloud offer. The service, which can be activated on the single lock, is enabled by the Administrator (or the Owner) directly on the web portal from which it is possible to manage all the activities relating to the access control system.
